Diablo 3: 'We're on the home stretch', says Blizzard

Speculation's growing that Blizzard's long, long coming Diablo three-quel could make it out in 2011, as the developer reveals it's "in the home stretch" of development.
Speaking to the New York Times this week, Diablo III's game director Jay Wilson said: "We're definitely in the home stretch. We're crunching. This is when the magic happens."
Activision Blizzard went on record not too long ago that it's not ready to announce a release date for the PC RPG because it doesn't want to "disappoint" eager fans, or commit to a date and be forced to sacrifice on the game's quality to hit it.
That "we would never do," the publisher said in an investor call earlier this year.
In a year where we're finally (probably) going to see Duke Nukem Forever come out, it makes a lot of sense for Diablo to nail 2011 too.
